An ancient staple from Bilad Al Sham with smoky, nutty flavor, our freekeh is high in protein, fiber, and manganese. Young green wheat is roasted over fire to develop its unique aroma and versatile flavor. It’s forgiving to cook and adapts to both sweet and savory dishes.
Suggested Uses: Use as a rice alternative, in soups, porridge, or hearty mains. Add vegetables, chicken, or beef for a complete meal. Ratio: 2 parts liquid per 1 part freekeh for grain dishes, 3–4 parts for soup.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Best within 12 months.
