Sumac is a beautiful but very underrated ingredient.

Most sumac on the market is dry and chalky. Our sumac is made from fresh, local Baladi pods, crushed by hand to preserve its citrusy tang, antioxidants, and natural oils.

Hand-crushing creates a slightly uneven texture that’s full of flavor and character.

Suggested Uses: Sprinkle over eggs, pasta, salads, roasted meats, or stir into lemonade for Jenin’s signature Sumac Lemonade.

Storage: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Best used within 12 months.
